Congrats! I'm not sure what this Pottermore thing is about, but I'm happy for your excitement. I've got an FB friend who got one too. LOL!

Thank you! Pottermore is kind of a Harry Potter online game, though JKR said that it was an interactive reading experience, where you can 'experience' all the seven books yourself online. Now it's still in the beta phase though, only selected people can get entry. It will open for public in October if you're interested to try... <3

Oh gawd, no. I've definitely outgrown Harry Potter. I stopped reading the book at book no.5 I think and I never even bought 6 & 7...No offense but I found HP & Co. to be a wayyyyyy too hormonal and HP was in his woe-is-me-teenage-angst...generally acting like a spoiled jerk. Kinda like Shia Lebouf in Transformer 3. I can never tolerate that kind of shit. I have no patience for that.

Around that time however, my bestfriend introduced me to a series that I really, really LOVE, Rick Riordan's Percy Jackson series. I love the pacing of the story, and the characters and the plotlines. Clean and simple, no OTT teenage crush, angst thing and I love that Riordan doesn't devote like chapters on a stupid kiss or something.

Have you read it before?

LOL~ I know what you mean, but well what could I said, I've been spoiled rotten by the the amazing fanfictions in HP fandom, that help me to 'stay' :3

Percy Jackson huh? I have only been watched the movie of Percy Jakson & The Lightening Thief, and it was kinda so-so. Hence I don't have the further interest to read the novels, even though it was my fav genre - fantasy (with magic). But I guess that's why watching a movie before reading the novels its based on is a no-no, especially in the case where the movies is not executed good enough, most than not it will be a turn-off :(

Reading your comment above, it seems that the novels is much better than the movie, will try to find and read them then ^^
